Education for the SDGs
ASU has a strong commitment to educating students, faculty, staff and the community on the Sustainable Development Goals, offering multiple learning and engagement opportunities.
Relationships to support the goals
Arizona State University engages with partners at the local, national and global level to support the SDGs through the fostering of sectoral dialogue, promotion of best practices, publication of relevant data, and by advocating for smart policies to address the challenges outlined in the SDGs.
Using Data to Reform Gender Discriminatory Laws and Regulations
Erin Carr-Jordan, Managing Director of the Digital Equity Institute and Head of Social Impact at Arizona State University presented at an event hosted by the USAID Women’s Economic Empowerment Community of Practice. The topic was applying the World Bank’s Women, Business and the Law 2022 report data for global advocacy, supporting national legislative changes, and creating decision-making tools.
